Events & Gatherings are now live on NeoTribes World

A living map of communities

NeoTribes World takes a major step forward.

With the launch of Events & Gatherings, the platform evolves from a static map of communities into a living, breathing network of real-world activity.

You can now discover what is happening across tribes globally, join experiences, and stay connected — all in one place.

Discover, join, and stay organized

Each event now supports a full participation flow:

• Interested / Join
• Automatically appears in My Calendar (Profile Menu)
• Easy access to all your upcoming experiences

Events can include two types of links:

• Public links

Visible to everyone (website, signup page, etc.)

• Coordination links (private). Visible after joining → Used for real coordination (Telegram groups, WhatsApp, etc.)

This keeps events open for discovery while enabling deeper coordination only for participants.

Follow tribes and receive notifications

You can now follow any tribe by clicking the ❤️ heart next to its name.

When you follow a tribe, you receive notifications when they publish:

• New events
• New visions

Notifications are:

• Enabled in-app only by default
• Fully configurable via the Settings page (Profile Menu)

Events vs Gatherings

Tribe Events

• Community life / regular activity.
• Small - medium events happening at the tribe home base
• Workshops, meals, open days, retreats...

Gatherings

• Special / attractor inter-tribe convergences or festivals.
• Larger retreats or multi-community experiences.

This allows both:

• Local community life
• Global collective moments

External networks: connecting ecosystems, not replacing them

NeoTribes is designed as a connector of networks, not a replacement.

Communities already exist across:

• Websites
• Instagram pages
• Telegram groups
• Other platforms / networks

Instead of forcing migration, NeoTribes allows:

• Adding events and gatherings that link to external community pages
• Redirecting users directly to the original source
• Displaying those communities via the “External Networks” toggle (on the map and other pages)

This creates a bridging layer:

• Discovery happens on NeoTribes
• Engagement can happen wherever the community lives

Over time, this enables a mycelium-like network of interconnected communities, rather than fragmented silos.
