How It Works

NeoTribes World is a practical map for finding communities and gathering in real life. Here’s what you can actually do here.

  • 🗺️ Map

Explore a living map of neotribes, seed tribes, events, and festivals near you. Filter by interest, open a pin, and see what’s happening around you.

  • 🏕️ NeoTribes

Browse community profiles: social circles, dojos, colivings, creative crews, local groups, ecovillages, and more. Open a tribe page to read about it, see upcoming events, and connect.

  • 🌱 Seed Tribes

Start or discover groups that are still forming. Seed tribes are a lightweight way to gather interest, host first events, and grow a new circle from scratch.

  • 📅 Events

Find and join local real-world gatherings hosted by individuals, neotribes, or seed tribes. Join an event to show up, meet people, and open the event chat in Pulse.

  • 🔥 Festivals

Discover larger gatherings, convergences, retreats, camps, and multi-day events that bring people and tribes together.

  • 🤝 Connect

Connect with tribes you care about to follow their activity and stay closer to their events. You can connect with many tribes — belonging grows through participation over time.

  • 👥 Members, Core & Stewards

Each tribe has layers of involvement. You don’t start as everything at once — people move deeper through real encounters and trust.

    • Connection: You’ve linked with a tribe and can follow what’s happening.
    • Participant / Member: You’ve shown up — for example by joining events — and are taking part in community life.
    • Core: Regular contributors who help carry the tribe’s rhythm and activities.
    • Steward (Admin): People who manage the tribe profile, welcome others, and steward the culture and gatherings.
  • 💬 Pulse & Callouts (coming next)

Pulse is the conversation layer for updates, coordination, and event chats. Callouts — open invites for help, roles, skills, or shared projects — are on the way. For now, start with the map, tribes, connect, and events.

Start on the map. Find a nearby tribe or event. Connect. Show up. Belonging grows from there.
